Rain, Washington State, Emotions, and You?

When I woke up today, it was raining. April showers, and all that.

This rain wasn’t just a sprinkle, though. I’m talking about window-pelting rain–not the worst I’ve ever been through, but still.

I was surprised by it. It hadn’t rained that much in a long time.

But what I really focused on was…

Sure, the rain stopped after a few hours, but the sun hasn’t really broken through yet.

It bummed me out a little. I try not to let weather affect me like that, because it changes from day to day, and I’d rather not live on a roller coaster. But there are times it happens.

Someone I know who lives in Washington State told me there’s not a lot of times the sun comes out there–ever.

I couldn’t live there, because of that. I’d be constantly wondering when the sun would be out. Here in the Midwest, that wondering lasts a day or three, maybe. Not weeks at a time.

So as I was plowing through client work for today, I kept wondering if the sun would come out.

Has the weather ever affected your mood? Drop me a comment, and let me know.

Until next time,
