How was your weekend? Mine was great–really relaxing. No crossword in the Sunday paper, though, darn it all. That’s two or three weeks in a row without it.
But before that, it hit…
Daylight Savings Time.
Turning the clocks ahead one hour (except for you Arizona guys and gals, and part of Indiana, I think it is).
And then I had to actually put some work in on Monday, while trying to adjust. And I’m still not adjusted (especially since I have an older computer that the time hasn’t switched to the correct one, just yet).
It was really warm yesterday and Sunday. And around here, with a whole bunch of melting snow, that means mud, and lots of it. Which means I had to wear boots everywhere, even though it wasn’t snowing. So winter and spring have footwear in common.
The temperature’s returning to normal. We’ve been below normal the last few weeks around here.
I keep returning to this theme, but client work and writing are like that–sometimes it’s snowy and awesome, or warm and muddy.
Circumstances get mixed. But it’s been true for me so far that it’s never as bad as I think it’s going to be.
And everything turns out fine. And a lot of the time, even better than I ever could have hoped.
Maybe that’s true for you, depending on you’re looking at right now in your life.
So let’s enjoy what we’ve been given–even if it happens to be spring mud.
Until next time,
