What a Shocker…But Then Again, Not Really.

How was your weekend? Mine was good. Been deep into an editing project, and <trying> to take some time off. That’s the weekend for you.

Now on to the WORK week.

Anyway, really weird today. It’s blazing sun outside, and it’s a little hot. Not too bad. And all of a sudden…POWER OUTAGE.

Odd? No. That’s country living, at times.

But yesterday, we had buckets of rain, practically. The lights flickered a bit, just once. TV went wonky, but the power was fine.

Like I said, weirdness. Usually people expect storms to put the power out. But for some reason, yes, I’ve seen it both ways.

Life can be like that too, especially with peoples’ actions–sometimes they can’t be predicted. Or you think someone should or could know better, and they don’t.

Life, again.

Keep moving ahead, not that that’s advice. Or maybe it is. As far as my documents go, I’m glad I have AutoRecover.

Until next time,

About Ty Mall

Thanks for stopping by. I've almost always been interested in writing, among other things. Along with discovering pop culture, I've uncovered a lot about the craft over the past 10 years. And whether you're a fiction writer or email copywriter, I'm here to pass on what I've found out. And have a ton of fun in the process.

You’re working pretty hard, Ty. Methinks you need some time off. I went right from my concert last Sunday, to teaching VBS this week. One of the 5th graders brought in his pet tonight – a pet rat, wrapped in a towel. As you said, with weather you never know what to expect. Same goes for kids.

Rodents and snakes both kinda creep me out, I gotta say. And I’m sorta glad I wasn’t there. And yes, I take weekends off–unless you mean time off during the week for R&R. And I’m STILL imagining the rat…Thanks for stopping by.
