Triple F: Crossword Clues 18

Decided to pop in on Black Friday after all, with the weekly prompt for you, aka Triple F, Fabulous Fiction Friday, and fuel for the fiction fire.

I’ll make it quick:

Across clue: Help in a heist (4 letters)

Down clue: Tinker (with) (3 letters)

These clues intersect–the last letter of the across clue is the first letter of the down clue.

What happens after this?

Okay, I’ve got “abet” and “toy.”

We could have an intergalactic gambling ring that uses toys of some type as a sign, or currency, or what-have-ya. Maybe they took over some human colonies and…you’ll have to take it from there. The circumstances with character, plot, setting are up to you–nothing is hinted at as far as being super-specific here.

Or we could have a bet between kids involving a toy. What would the significance be? What does the toy mean to whoever’s involved? It doesn’t necessarily have to be only children here, but it can be.

There’s also the possibility of a toy named Abet. I don’t know how you could take that–but that’s why imaginations are so cool.

This is the last full week of November. A couple days, and November 2015 is history, and December is here (and we already had our first snow this past week–which is why I like to say snow is a four-letter word that starts with “S.”)

Make it an awesome weekend, with great memories, all right? (I hope you’ve made great Thanksgiving memories this year–no harm in making more good memories).

Until next time (and week, and probably month),

About Ty Mall

Thanks for stopping by. I've almost always been interested in writing, among other things. Along with discovering pop culture, I've uncovered a lot about the craft over the past 10 years. And whether you're a fiction writer or email copywriter, I'm here to pass on what I've found out. And have a ton of fun in the process.
