Triple F: Strange Things…

How was your week? Good I hope.

Every Friday is Triple F and the writing prompt. I think I was talking with my brother and goofing around when I came up with the idea for this week:

Imagine that everyone has hands coming out of their eye sockets and eyeballs coming out of their wrists–so they have to touch with their eyes and see with their wrists.

What happens now?

Okay, not a lot to go on here–just one detail. No gender, setting, much of a plot, or what-have-ya. So you’d have to come up with those.

What if…

Something awful happened to a scientist and he’s succeeded in making everyone just like him? This is on the other side of things, after the success of the plot–and everyone is feeling things with their eye sockets. Would people fight back? Why and how?

Someone decides they don’t like what happened and try to get it reversed? Where do they go, what do they do, and why do they care? What if this alteration happened generations before?

Anyway, that’s about it for today–enough to get you started. Telling stories from a different perspective in the same universe (if my examples were from two characters in the same fictional world) can be powerful stuff.

January 2016 is almost out of here.

Make it an awesome weekend, with good memories, all right?

Until next time (and week),

About Ty Mall

Thanks for stopping by. I've almost always been interested in writing, among other things. Along with discovering pop culture, I've uncovered a lot about the craft over the past 10 years. And whether you're a fiction writer or email copywriter, I'm here to pass on what I've found out. And have a ton of fun in the process.
