How was your weekend? Mine was pretty wild, mostly because of no papers or comics. And the wild surprise that greeted me when I got back. Which I want to talk a little bit about later in another post. Hint: it has to do with frozen white stuff that drifts down from clouds.
Let’s get to it for today. A couple posts ago, I mentioned that I would keep you all posted on cover developments (or new developments) for one of my books.
That day is today.
After someone pointed out in a Facebook group I’m in that I should give a different cover a shot, I had one designed and got it uploaded.
And to celebrate, I’m putting out the book for free today over this way:
I think the new yellow cover is awesome.
The Writer’s Key: 50 Prompts and Other Strategies to Jumpstart Your Fiction is mostly for fiction writers. There’s way more to it than that.
I say “mostly” because writing itself is about generating ideas and connections between them (and then between those connections and your audience) which this book will definitely help you do (that’s why I put the introduction out front and bonus…oops, you’ll just have to find out).
Is it simple? Sure. If you’re stuck, I want you get ideas and be writing as quickly as possible (that’s why I wrote the book in the first place). And I also included my own ideas you can use for your own stories by switching out different plots, characters, settings, backstories, and what-have-ya.
Get on over to the link and give yourself a rush of creative brain juice:
And feel free to review it if you get a kick out of it.
Until next time,
