I’m Living Proof of Hemingway’s Greatest Advice…Here’s Why

How’s it going? For those of you who don’t know, I accidentally double posted yesterday. I was on a super high coaster of sorts reliving all the memories from my cool Colorado trip, and then clicked “Publish” before I knew what I’d done (I usually don’t publish posts before 8 a.m.).

Well, for some reason I made things worse by rescheduling the post to go out again at 8 in the morning–fifty minutes from when I did the first iteration.

The things we learn, and the way we learn ’em…lol.

If I’m not mistaken, Ernest Hemingway gave us this famous four-word phrase:

“Write drunk, edit sober.”

Welp, I didn’t sober up before I hit the post button, and so I learned.

Go and DON’T do likewise.

Tomorrow is Triple F. Be sure to stop by.

Until next time,

About Ty Mall

Thanks for stopping by. I've almost always been interested in writing, among other things. Along with discovering pop culture, I've uncovered a lot about the craft over the past 10 years. And whether you're a fiction writer or email copywriter, I'm here to pass on what I've found out. And have a ton of fun in the process.
