Triple F: Turned It Around…

How’s your week been? I’ve been telling you about mine–mostly getting things set up for a new client I hope to take on, and remembering about the wedding I went to last weekend in South Carolina.

And glad to be here on the last day of a month to hang out with you. New beginnings, remembering and learning from what’s been going on, and all that.

Anyway, let’s get to it.

Today is Triple F, which means a prompt for you–usually custom cut from something that happened in my life the same week.

And this Fabulous Fiction Friday is no exception.

I thought I’d use the wedding, with a twist (you’d have to see Cake Smash to understand, though).

This week’s prompt is:

Your character turns a potentially bad or embarrassing situation around.

I was thinking of a reverse cake smash, but you can have any turnaround situation you’d like. And you’ll have to pop in gender, backstory, and what-have-ya to flesh everything out–especially since this is barely even an incident, let alone a full plot…it’s barely a blip.

How about Jake is being followed down an alley by some thugs? What if they were planning to rob him, and he changes their minds? How would he do that? Hypnotism? Mind-reading? Time traveling to the place where they would be to see why they were there with him in the first place?

Or maybe Karen is a smooth talker, and negotiates 4,000 gogglesnits off the price of a warp drive for her SA300 Microcosmic Time Traveling Universe Vehicle. Why does she need this part, and why didn’t she have the what-have-ya to start with?

That’s enough to get the mental snowball coasting down the hill, I figure.

June 2017 will be gone by tomorrow. I hope you made it awesome–it started a bit slow for me, but I hope to see things ramp up. Tomorrow’s the start of July 2017.

Make it an awesome weekend, with good memories, all right?

Next Tuesday is July 4th. Here in America, we’ll get to relive awesome memories, and make some more.

Until next week (and month),

Ty
