My Body and Brain Like It, Even Though I Know It Doesn’t Exist…

How was your weekend? This weekend was pretty normal, even though my body and brain were enjoying the extra hour of everything they thought they were getting now that Daylight Savings Time is over.

Let’s get to it.

I’d like to talk about that a little bit today–the illusion of extra time. Is it real? No–that’s why it’s an illusion. But since I’ve trained my body over the past months and months when Daylight Savings Time was still on that such-and-such is what time it is, even though the clock says it’s one hour sooner, my body’s still working it out.

I guess that plays into my preference to not be rushed and do things on my own schedule (as much as humanly possible). Pressure is something I never liked, especially if insults, threats, and what-have-ya come along with it.

Anyway, that’s about it for today.

What about you? Are you enjoying the extra fake hour, if it applies? Drop me a line in the comments.

Until next time,

Ty

And whether you're a fiction writer or email copywriter, I'm here to pass on what I've found out. And have a ton of fun in the process.
